COVID-19 Reopening plan and guidelines

  • Booking changes

    • One guest at a time/stylist- no double-booking during processing

    • Extra 15 minutes added to all services to allow time for sanitation and sterilization

  • Phone call made the day prior to appointment with screening questions

    • Have you traveled in the past 14 days?

    • If so, where?

    • In the past 14 days, have you been in contact with anyone that has tested positive for the COVID-19 virus?

    • In the past 14 days, have you experienced any of the following- fever, cough, shortness of breath, muscle aches, runny nose, diarrhea, loss of sense of smell or taste?

    • If answered yes to any of the above questions you will be asked to reschedule your appointment for a minimum of 14 days.

  • Upon arrival

    • No one may accompany you to your appointment. Exception- any child, disabled, or elderly guest may be accompanied by 1 additional person.

    • Please stay in your car until you are signaled to come inside. We are asking everyone to check in via text or phone call to (607)333-5291 and we will prompt you when it is time to enter.

    • Please bring only the bare minimum of items with you. I.e. keys, cell phone, and form of payment

    •  You will be asked to wash or sanitize your hands immediately upon arrival

    • Temperature checks will be taken. A temperature higher than 100 degrees will be asked to reschedule.

    • Masks will be required by all guests and staff

  • During service

    • Stylist will change their smock in between each guest

    • Stylist will wash and sanitize their hands in between each guest

    • Everything for each guest will be used exclusively for that guest and immediately cleansed and sterilized after the visit. This includes, cutting capes, towels, brushes, shears, all surfaces in contact with the guest, etc.

    • All laundry will immediately be put into the washer and laundered with hot water and detergent.

  • Additional information

    • There will be no magazines available or anything that would be community use

    • Beverages will still be available, but a staff member must get it for you. Please let us know of your requests and we will be happy to assist.

    • Walk-in’s will not be serviced at this time. Appointments are mandatory.

    • Due to the need for face coverings we are temporarily unable to perform any skin care and/or barbering on the face (beard trims, shaves).

    • Stations will be spaced out to comply with social distancing standards.

    • Shampoo stations will be thoroughly cleansed and sanitized after each use. Please be patient with us while we take this necessary step.

Cleanliness and sanitation have always been top priority inside our business. We have increased our measures to the best of our ability to ensure the protection of our team and guests. We ask for your patience at this time as we adjust to the new protocols and the overwhelming number of guests that are in dire need of a visit. We are all extremely excited to get back and to take care of you!
